"It's coming no matter what we do!" Buckle up, you're in for a crazy ride. These films are getting better and better! Oats Studios has unveiled their next new short film, titled Zygote , an intense horror action story starring Dakota Fanning and Jose Pablo Cantillo . This is perhaps the most cinematic film that Oats has released yet. Directed by the main man himself, Neill Blomkamp , this film features one helluva gnarly monster that appears halfway through. I also love the score, by Lorne Balfe , which makes this feel even more intense. Martin Scorsese ‘s  The Irishman  is turning into an epic reunion of giants.  Robert De Niro  and  Al  Pacino  are starring in Scorsese’s Netflix movie , which  Harvey Keitel  and  Joe Pesci  have officially boarded. They’ll start working on  The Irishman  next month, when Scorsese starts shooting his gangster drama, which will digitally de-age its actors to tell a story spanning decades. The  Bumblebee  movie has found its male lead — who isn’t a yellow Autobot. The  Transformers spin-off has cast Jorge Lendeborg Jr. , who recently appeared in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie  Spider-Man: Homecoming , as the lead alongside  Hailee Steinfeld , who will star as a tomboy mechanic who bonds with Bumblebee. Lendeborg Jr. is in talks to play an unnamed young male lead in  Transformers Universe:  Bumblebee , according to The Hollywood Reporter , injecting some promising diversity into the film (Steinfeld herself is half Filipino). What Matt Reaves and Andy Serkis have concocted in their third and final outing is nearly miraculous, and totally in keeping with the rest of the Planet of the Apes franchise. I also hope that it sparks new viewers to travel back to the saga that Charlton Heston built. It’s a series of films steeped in misery as well as adventure, and they have a lot more on their mind than your typical sci-fi exploit. War certainly spurred me to revisit the films, and I found myself compelled to craft a definitive ranking. Lists are obviously the product of their creators.
